Landscape Committee

Our Mission

Maintaining and enhancing the beauty of Serrano Park

The landscape committee is made up of volunteers who have a passion for nature, and are dedicated to the upkeep and enhancement of our community’s green spaces.

Committee members work together to develop and oversee landscape plans, coordinate with vendors for horticultural services, and ensure the grounds are well-maintained year-round. Your involvement and feedback are always appreciated as we strive to preserve the natural beauty of our neighborhood.

Current Projects

We have re-seeded the grass areas in the parkways throughout the community. This project was aimed at filling in areas where the grass has died.

The board has approved a tree trimming budget for the next three years for both the street Brazillian pepper trees, and the larger community trees in our parks and greenbelts. This contract is for 2025-2028.

HOA water usage is a high priority and is actively managed in Serrano Park.  Water costs are 8% of our total HOA expenses.  On average, Serrano Park uses 56% of its monthly IRWD water allocation and we’re working to do even better and you can help.

The water controllers are programmed to irrigate in stages between 9 PM and 8 AM.  If you see water running after 8 AM, a broken sprinkler, or flooding, please immediately call Keystone Pacific at 949-833-2600 to report.  Please give a general reference of location where you’re seeing any irrigation matters to the operator and a Harvest irrigation technician will be notified.

We are working with Harvest (our communities landscaping company) to replace the plants that have not taken root and have died in the Mariposa Park area. These plants are under warranty and will be replaced at no extra cost to our community.
